Batching Content To Save Time
1/23/2020
Buttercup, can I ask you a question? Do you meal prep? In case you’re not familiar with the term, meal prepping is a way to reduce daily tasks in the kitchen by doing all of the preparations ahead of time. Die hard meal preppers even get their whole week of meals prepped in ONE sitting! No, I am NOT one of those people. *Heck, I’m rarely even in the kitchen! Shoutout to my husband JD!* But I do apply this efficiency method in other places of my life…specifically in my business. It’s called batch working. >>Batch working is simply putting similar tasks together to increase efficiency and decrease redundancy.<< A great example for batch working is planning social media content (for the week, month, etc.). So how is meal prepping similar to batch working? Let’s take a look at how to batch work social media content for your business in a way that meal preppers batch work their kitchen tasks: Make a planMeal Preppers:

Mission accomplished! *OK, so maybe neither of these processes are that simple, but isn’t it crazy how similar they are?!* I may not be a master in meal prepping (or even in the kitchen), but it’s easy to see that batching social media content can save a lot of time…and I’m all about that! >>Having a plan prevents me from feeling overwhelmed, and batch working is a way to match my BIG ambitions with actions.<< Now, I have to admit that I’m no die hard batch worker by any means.
Someday, I hope to have my life together enough to be able to batch ALL of my content, but for right now I’m doing what I can. And you can too, boo boo! Let’s take baby steps together, and soon, we’ll be batch working pros! The post Batching Content To Save Time appeared first on Jasmine Star. via RSSMix.com Mix ID 8230553 https://ift.tt/2NU7QLj
