Creative Professionals are finding mobile internet essential to their work, and providers have responded with a plethora of options. The big boys of cable internet, Comcast and Spectrum (formerly known as Charter and Time Warner), have even rolled out cellular service over the last 24 months to compete with the likes of AT&T, Verizon and […] The post Pros and Cons to using Wi-Fi and Cellular Internet appeared first on Resource. via RSSMix.com Mix ID 8230553 https://ift.tt/2R1sgTr In the late 90s and the 2000s, one of the biggest trends was toy cameras. Companies made these cameras as a way of selling cheap but effective products to the public. They soon then began to realize that cameras could also be sold to children. Do you want more eyes on your business? Yes or yes? For years now, I have made the commitment to post one to three blogs on my website each week for this very reason.
OH, HECK YES! *Believe it or not, even jabber jaws like me run out of things to talk about!* There may be some difficult patches, but I understand the value that consistently blogging adds to my business. Creating content has changed the way my business has grown, and I’ve attributed it to simply showing up every week and writing things that will help my business get discovered. >>Writing your thoughts and ideas into blog form creates searchable content that improves your search engine optimization (SEO), which helps get your business SEEN.<< When I am struggling for new ideas, I ask myself this list of questions to help me create content that attracts more customers: Can I create a step-by-step or how-to blog post to simplify a complex question?
Tutorial posts are VERY popular due to the value that they provide, and they’re also a proven method to build trust with prospective customers. What are my ideal client’s commonly asked questions related to my business?
Rather than individually answering questions people ask, streamline the process and create a detailed piece of content that answers these FAQs. This way, you have something helpful, searchable, and scalable to point people to rather than typing out multiple emails. ![]() What is my ideal client searching for?
If you want your business to get discovered in an organic web search, you need to create searchable content. Focus on key words and phrases within your industry that people may search for and use them in your content. What is a situation that empowered me to become the person I am today?
Sharing thoughts and experiences both personalizes your business and helps people get to know you as a person and an entrepreneur. What is my specialty and how do I do it differently than others?
Uniqueness builds value and trust over time, which is especially important in a saturated market. Explaining what makes you unique offers a point of differentiation for your business among others, helping you stand out from the crowd. What is something I wanted to know early in my business, but couldn’t find the answer?
This is a gold mine’s worth of content just waiting to surface! Taking the opportunity to educate people positions yourself as an authority, PLUS you’re basically winning the search lottery! What am I complimented on the most and why is it important to me?
It’s important to highlight what others compliment you on because it helps potential customers determine if you will be a good fit for what they’re looking for. So friend, whenever you’re looking for new content ideas to use for a blog post, I hope that these questions help you! *Don’t worry, you can use this same list to get ideas for articles, podcasts, social media posts, and MORE!* Remember, the most valuable market you can invest in is yourself. >>Show off your unique perspective and share what makes your business the perfect fit for current and prospective customers!<< The post The #1 Way To Get Your Business Seen appeared first on Jasmine Star. via RSSMix.com Mix ID 8230553 https://ift.tt/2TifzXl Be The Change

Several years ago, I received a letter from a struggling entrepreneur that read: “As a new business owner, it’s been really hard for me to get noticed. I’m starting out at the very bottom and trying to break in to the market. Also, I live in a small town and there isn’t support for new business owners. How do you stay so positive when all you feel is alone?” Since then, I’ve heard from dozens of people who have felt the very same way. I’ve been there too, boo boo. I could’ve written that exact letter ten years ago.
>>But I quickly learned how to GROW my business by simply being the change I wanted to see.<< I had the option to wallow in pity or take the high road, and I chose the path that led to success. I saw a need and I met it. First, I invited three other business owners out for lunch. We conversed about our similarities, shared helpful tips and resources, and made meaningful connections. A while later, I recognized that other people in my community ached for the same networking opportunities that I did. So, I upped my game from holding small lunch meet-ups to hosting a free networking event in my neighborhood clubhouse. *Complete with generic-brand sodas, of course!* As I was setting up chairs with my husband for the event, I was worried that my idea would be a flop. I knew that there was a void that needed to be filled, but I wasn’t sure if I was capable of accomplishing it. The fact that 200 people showed up and packed the room quickly squashed any doubts I had. What sprouted from that event was a yearlong commitment of hosting events for people to connect with others, which is where I found my purpose. ![]() Before you start wondering whether or not you’re up to the task, let me tell you: >>I wasn’t qualified, I wasn’t eloquent, and I wasn’t ready.<< But I did the dang thing anyway. And you should, too. Here are a few ideas to get your wheels turning:
If you feel lonely, reach out. If you want to be positive, surround yourself with positivity. Start small. Fill a void. Do whatever it takes. Revolutions often being with one person willing to take a risk and daring to start something new. Let the revolution begin with YOU. >>YOU need to be the change.<< The post Be The Change appeared first on Jasmine Star. via RSSMix.com Mix ID 8230553 https://ift.tt/2N4uyQz The Key To Business Freedom

Surprisingly, I’m NOT talking about running a marathon. *Although I DID paint one heck of a picture, didn’t I?!* I’m talking about the struggles I faced as my business grew…and I couldn’t keep up. If you’ve ever felt like you’re also running in slow motion and drowning in your work schedule, then read on Buttercup, because I found the solution! *AKA the go-go juice recipe that’ll help you finish that marathon!* >>The key to business freedom is outsourcing!<< Listen boo, I’m all about doing things 100%. When you first start a business, you can handle a lot of things yourself. I get that because I did, too! >>But the minute that your business starts growing and you’re unable to do everything at 100% is the minute you need to wave your white flag and call in reinforcements.<< ![]() There came a time when it was impossible for me to do 100% for my business. My business had grown to a point where I literally felt like a marathon runner moving at a snail’s pace. *Hence the impeccable visual I described above, if I do say so myself.* So, I finally bit the bullet and outsourced. And I haven’t looked back since! >>I quickly realized that outsourcing what I couldn’t do at 100% really made me a stronger photographer, business owner, and business strategist.<< Finances were never my forte. When I first started out, I was able to handle it month-to-month. But when things began to grow, that was the first area that I knew needed to be done by someone else. So, I outsourced my finances to a bookkeeper. He was able to do his job at 100%, which gave me the ability to give 110% effort toward doing what I do best. >>Doing less in my business actually helped me to grow more than I ever thought possible.<< You don’t have to run the marathon alone, my friend. Pass off the baton and outsource! Believe me, it’ll help you get back to 100% faster than chugging a bottle of Gatorade! Creativity can come in all shapes and forms, bring all sorts of ideas to the surface, and inspire change in the world. But creativity is also a vague term because of how many outlets there are, and with that comes two things: a challenge […] The post What are The Characteristics of Creative People and Are You One Of Them? appeared first on Resource. via RSSMix.com Mix ID 8230553 https://ift.tt/2SMSLhT If youâve been here awhile, you know itâs common for me to give you a loving kick in the pants, packed with lots of Latina sass, spice, and everything nice. But boo, I was in the ZONE when I critiqued Instagram accounts from fellow creatives and attendees of the Showit United conference! Itâs time to get real, stop making excuses, and use Instagram with a PLAN to move your business forward. These tips and feedback are exactly what Iâd tell youâ¦be sure to watch each video for more FAQs! ![]() Tip #1: A good copywriting hook at the beginning of your posts gets followers to the CTA at the end.Let me give it to you straight, boo boo: people wonât be invested in you if they donât actually read your posts. Sure, posting the perfect picture is nice, but it doesnât cut it anymore. You have to offer more. To gain interest and, most importantly, spark engagement is by writing an effective caption, which makes people click âread moreâ and take action at the end. This breaks down to a good copywriting hook (read more about this >>HERE<<) and a call-to-action. When people take action on your post, it indicates to the IG algorithm that they want to see more of you. >>IG Makeover Takeaway #1: When it comes to creating an invested audience, a good caption is only as effective as the hook.<<
Tip #2: Consistency is the only way to grow.Do you feel like the algorithm is giving you whiplash? Iâm about to give you a reality check: You are giving whiplash to yourself if you arenât showing up consistently and replying to every comment your audience graciously gives you. Donât starve for engagement simply because you wonât bring the spoon to your mouth. *See, I told you Iâve got lots of sass!* If you want to grow, how many times are you willing to show up each week? Consistency leads to growth. >>IG Makeover Takeaway #2: You must give Instagram inventory to share on a regular basis.<<
Tip #3: Show your real life, especially when youâre unsure what to post about.
Raise your hand if youâve ever stared at a blinking cursor of an Instagram post, not knowing what to write, so you inevitably post nothing. *Raise âem high!!* Iâve been there, tooâ¦until I learned that posting ANYTHING is better than posting NOTHING. My best piece of advice is that followers want to see your real life, as unglamourous and boring as it may beâ¦so SHOW IT. >>IG makeover takeaway #3: If youâre happy and you know it, clap your hands and show it!<< Buttercup, in case I came off too hard-edged with this IG makeover, please understand that this feedback is a critique, NOT criticism. >>A critique is looking at something and giving advice on what to do better. Criticism is saying that something isnât good and providing no solution.<< Just know that all of this bundled up sass is said with love, because Iâve got nothing BUT love for you, hustler! I hope this helps you so you can keep doing amazing things!
